Account details you provide: email address and sign-in credentials handled by our authentication provider.
Profile and preference data: skills, available time windows, pay goals, payout preferences, and saved filters.
Resume content you upload, including text extracted from your files, used to match you to listings and to generate resumes and cover letters at your request.
Usage data such as gigs you save, apply to, or track in your pipeline, and earnings you log.
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider. Card details are entered directly with the processor and are never stored on Sidepocket's servers.
We store a customer and subscription reference, your plan, status, and renewal date so we can give you access to paid features.
To rank and personalize listings, send alerts and reminders you enable, generate AI resume and cover-letter drafts, track your applications and earnings, and operate and secure the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your resume to train third-party models beyond generating the output you request.
We share data only with service providers who help us run Sidepocket: hosting and database, authentication, AI generation, and payment processing.
Job listings link out to third-party platforms. Once you leave Sidepocket, that platform's own privacy policy applies.
You can edit or delete your resume text and preferences at any time from the Resume and Settings areas.
You can cancel your subscription from the billing portal, and you can request account deletion by contacting us.
Notifications and alerts are opt-in and can be turned off in the app or in your browser settings.
We keep your data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after account deletion, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
Access to your data is restricted by row-level security so that only you (and our systems acting on your behalf) can read it.
